Three weeks ago, I went to see the movie “Avatar” with my cousins. It was a late night show and the events that transpired that day have made me believe that driving a bike can be the most risky thing one can do. I don’t remember what happened that day after the Movie got over. The only thing I remember is waking up in the hospital in physical pain, and my cousin Vipin bhaiya told me that I had an accident.
I was later informed that I had a collision with a Car around 2:30 in the night, Lots of people gathered after the incident and somebody called the police and they brought me to the Hospital. Then doctor at the hospital took my mobile phone and called the last dialed number and fortunately It turned out to be my cousin’s no with whom I went for the movie…They immediately rushed to the Hospital…
My family came to the hospital and I had to be in ICU for 4 days, Fortunately there was no major Injury. The doctor said that this is the first case of Bike accident he has seen in which a life has been saved by helmet. I would seriously like to thank traffic cops for making it mandatory to wear Helmet…
I still have no memory of the accident. I was in bed and out of action for more than three weeks, During this time, I used to think a lot about what had happened and also about the my Job, my career and everything else.
I would say that When I look back, I wonder how I survived the accident knowing that a lot of people die for minor accident, I have no choice but to be thankful to God for his love and mercy. I am grateful to my family, friend and everyone else who supported me and I should say that I learned a lot that it's really important to show love to someone especially when they are going through difficult times.
